If you need access to accommodation outside of your home during your pregnancy or when your baby is born CURA can provide a list of Pre-Natal and Post Natal accommodation services throughout the country. CURA can also support you in making contact with the service you need.

Accommodation is usually supervised and can take the form of shared accommodation or individual apartments / bedsits

Centres provide:

Many Centres provide a range of services including:

• Access to Counselling,
• Programmes to enhance Personal Development, Personal Skills, Child Care, Parenting Skills, Budgeting skills, Health Issues and D.I.Y.,
• Access to programmes to enhance employment opportunities including Career Planning, Computer Training and Driving Lessons,
• Encouragement to continue in second / third level education,
• Support and encouragement to continue in employment,
• Access to appropriate clinics, support services and other agencies where appropriate,
• Financial support where necessary.

Costs:

The charges for individual Centres are available on request.
Many services qualify for rent allowance.
