Cura services are provided by trained crisis pregnancy counsellors working on a voluntary basis. Services are provided through Cura Hubs and Outreaches throughout the country and locally by appointment. Each counsellor initially completes the Cura Crisis Pregnancy training programme which prepares him/her for work as a crisis pregnancy counsellor and equips him/her with the knowledge and skill to undertake this role. Crisis pregnancy counsellors work directly with clients who are experiencing a crisis or unplanned pregnancy, and parents of a new baby who may be experiencing challenges at this time. 

Please note: Cura does not provide opportunities for those already undertaking accredited counselling courses to engage with Cura clients as part of clinical practice requirements.
